Position : BRAND AMBASSADOR / SALES ASSOCIATE
Job Summary
The Brand Ambassador (Sales Associate) serves as the ‘FACE’ of Global Academy. As such, he/she represents the School by epitomizing the standards of excellence of a world-class culinary educat ional institution that is Global Academy. As the symbol and voice of the School, he/she is primarily in charge of promoting and selling the services of the School. He/She is likewise charged to protect and enhance the image of the School and strengthen its public relations.
Primary Functions
- Convince prospective students and their parents/patrons to enrol in any of the courses being offered by the School, explaining to them the details of services of the School and helping them make informed decisions
- Market the School’s courses and other services by undertaking sales campaign through email broadcast, text campaign, cold calling, social media networking, among others
- Develop leads by undertaking consumer attitude and market studies, develop sales ideas for new opportunities, and establish/maintain effective contact with potential and existing customer base through direct marketing
- Assist the students in the admissions and enrollment process, from inquiry to orientation
- Organize and attends events and exhibits
- Represent the School in sales/marketing activities
- Attend to students’ requests
- Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Preferably, the candidate has a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or Associate Degree in Culinary or Baking from a reputable school Or candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Marketing, Business/Administration/Management, Communications, Information, and Communications Technology (ICT/Computer Studies) or equivalent
- With at least 2 years working experience in a sales-related job, preferably in a school
- Very knowledgeable of/proficient in the use of MS Office
- Very knowledgeable of /proficient in the use of social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- With excellent oral and written communications
- With exceptional customer service skills and corporate presentation & negotiation skills
- Must be detail and goal-oriented, organized, creative, team player and ambitious
- Must have leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Must be self-motivated and have strong work ethics
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience in organizing activities is an advantage
